ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The Ukrainian construction standards are being harmonized with the EU ones. The heat transfer resistance coefficient requirements have become more stringent in Ukraine, coming close to the European level. The best-selling items from our product range currently meet minimally acceptable standards. If the requirements keep rising, the current 70-mm systems won’t be able to keep up with demand.

WDS 76 MD is the most technologically advanced system in our range.

With a mounting depth of 76 mm, multipurpose 48-mm glazing unit, third gasket contour, and 6-chamber profiles, WDS 76  MD windows’ thermal transmittance reaches 0.79 W/m²K, 28% above the 70-mm systems’ average.

LARGE WINDOWS AND DOORS

Panoramic windows must have safe inner and external glass panes (tempered or triplex). This kind of glass is typically thicker than usual.
The WDS 76 MD windows have wide 48-mm glazing units with thick glass without sacrificing thermal efficiency.
To put this into perspective, using the glass this thick in 40-mm glazing units (the maximum for profiles with a mounting depth of 70 mm) will reduce pane spacing, substantially lowering heat insulation performance. Therefore, the WDS 76 MD profiles and 48-mm glazing units make an optimal combination for large assemblies.

Besides, WDS 76 MD profiles have larger reinforcement chambers than other WDS systems to accommodate reinforcements with better static properties, enabling larger assemblies without unnecessary partitions.

SOUNDPROOFING,
SECURITY, AESTHETICS

The WDS 76 systems are compatible with 48-mm glazing units to provide:

  • • aesthetic appearance, as architectural glass prevents the lens effect
  • • security with optional tempered or Triplex glass (6–8 mm) on one or both sides
  • • excellent soundproofing with optional Triplex glass (6–8 mm) on one or both sides
  • • desired heat insulation performance with larger inert gas chambers.

MORE NATURAL LIGHT

WDS 76 MD windows have a smaller combined frame and sash profile height than any other WDS system. They let more natural light in since the glazing unit accounts for most of the assembly’s area.

The third gasket contour provides:

  • • increased water tightness
  • • a barrier for extra protection for hardware from moisture, dust, and dirt (rebate zone protection from dirt)
